The color is a black with a golden yellow secondary color due to the Hematite inclusions found only in Sapphires from this region. This untreated gem was mined from the ground in Ban Katcha Thailand, weighs 27.89 carats and is an oval cabochon that measures 18.3 x 15.4 x 8.4 mm. Medium high in brightness and sharpness and is nicely centered, this natural star is not diffused. This is a black Sapphire with a natural star complete with six long rays.
